What is heromat® made from?

heromat combines the safety and health properties of clinical textiles with the functionality of high performance textiles and tops it all off with great design.

Top layer - super soft polyester fabric optimized to wick moisture away from the skin and lock it internally until washed clean. This is healthier for skin and makes clean-up super easy.

Inner layer - a blend of polyester and rayon which adds extra comfort for use while maximizing absorbency.

Waterproof barrier - TPU or Thermoplastic Polyurethane, which is commonly used in infant care products due to it's safety and durability.

Back layer - brushed polyester with a silicone dot pattern to prevent mats from moving during use while also ensuring their easy portability.

What about safety testing?

Our mats have been laboratory tested and are free of lead and phthalates. In addition, our fabrics, finishes, and dyes are free of over a hundred potentially hazardous chemicals.

Finally, our mats meet SAI's (Social Accountability International) SA8000 certification which ensures fair and safe working conditions.

What sets us apart?

We went through a rigorous research process to develop our mats, choosing fabrics and finishes that could stand up to heavy use without compromise. How should I wash my heromats?

Machine wash in warm/hot temperatures up to 90 degrees Celsius and tumble dry on low to medium/warm heat.

Do not iron. Do not bleach. Do not use fabric softener, dryer sheets, or similar items as this can affect absorbency.

Wash. Use. Repeat. Enjoy!
